T.G.I.F. Club will begin after school on Friday, September 6th. The program runs from 2:30 to 5:15 p.m. on all Fridays that Mariposa County District Schools are in session.
The theme for this year is Loving God, Loving Neighbor. The mission of the curriculum is reaching, empowering, and equipping children and those who care for them, with grace-based resources that help them on the journey to: understand themselves as children of God, explore and deepen their relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and love and serve God and neighbor.
Everyone is invited to come join the fun as we grow closer to God. Grace and Len Bryant will be teaching the children using Deep Blue: Loving God, Loving Neighbor. Deep Blue incorporates Bible stories, science activities, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games into a lived-faith experience.
Children and youth will be escorted after school from Mariposa Elementary School to the church. Homeschool students will need to be transported directly to the church.
Needed for TGIF:
- Walkers to go to Mariposa Elementary School.
- Snack food including raisins, peanut butter, cheese, crackers, fruit, and pretzels.
- Extra helpers to substitute.

Christian Education on Fridays - Not Sundays!
Thank God It's Friday! Everyone is invited to come join the fun as we grow closer to God Friday afternoons during the school year.
Volunteers meet the children at the elementary school and walk the short distance to the church where the children start the afternoon with a healthy snack.
As they finish they enjoy arts, puzzles and projects, gleeful singing of Christian songs, chiming, prayer, child-friendly Bible study, videos, dramas, and games.
The Old Testament is studied from September until Christmas followed by the New Testament until the end of the school year.
We hope to teach:
-Faith in God and following Jesus
