TGIF Club

TGIF Kids Club is currently in a season of prayer, planning, and preparation as we look ahead to the upcoming school year. With new volunteers expressing interest in being part of this ministry, meaningful conversations and visioning are already underway.

We invite you to be in prayer as we discern how best to support and strengthen this program, and we ask you to prayerfully consider how you might offer volunteer support. A planning gathering will be announced later this summer.

We are grateful for this ministry and continue to pray for TGIF Kids Club as it seeks to serve children and families in our community, striving to be a nurturing, joyful, and enriching after-school program.

Needed for TGIF:

1. Walkers to go to Mariposa Elementary School.
2. Snack food including raisins, peanut butter, cheese, crackers, fruit, and pretzels.
3. Extra helpers to substitute.

Christian Education on Fridays - Not Sundays!

Thank God It's Friday! Everyone is invited to come join the fun as we grow closer to God Friday afternoons during the school year.

Volunteers meet the children at the elementary school and walk the short distance to the church where the children start the afternoon with a healthy snack.
As they finish they enjoy arts, puzzles and projects, gleeful singing of Christian songs, chiming, prayer, child-friendly Bible study, videos, dramas, and games.

The Old Testament is studied from September until Christmas followed by the New Testament until the end of the school year.
We hope to teach:

-Integrity
-Kindness
